Great! So you also restore helmets, and do the stitching work on the visors? That is quite a difficult thing to do, I presume.
Some members here do that too, thankfully none of mine needed that.

Ja, es ist eine schöne Arbeit, die auch viel Geduld erfordert.
Ich habe bestimmt schon 10-15 Pickelhauben restauriert. Ich suche immer nach Wracks, wo sich eine Restauration noch lohnt. Des Weiteren ist die Beschaffung von feldgrauen Ersatzteilen nicht einfach. Bei der M95 (Messing) ist das einfacher.
Ich suche schon länger eine Feldgraue Artillierie Kugel.

A nice guy, French, but he sells parts too. I recently bought a Hessen M95 wappen from him, which will be delivered today. I am searching for a long time for a Hessen M15 spike, but we all know these are very, very rare. Maybe he has that feldgraue M15 artillerie kugel for you.
You can alway's try, if you don't ask, you'll never know my friend.

Good luck! He alway's sends a message back. He keeps an eye out for that Hessen spike, for me, but I know it's a long shot.
