W.D.R.7 One Year Volunter

Hi Friends,

Time ago I have purchased this nice helmet: Dragon Pickelhaube -Westfal.Dragon Regiment No.7- 2.Escadrone-as can be clearly seen on the label.The seller added to me little book.She told me that this book was found together with this pickelhaube. On one page it is singed by the same name as on the label " Jacob" .I think it is quite interesting,nevertheles it can not state the exact time when this Mr.Jacob has worn this helmet.

By the way- what Pattern is this helmet-can you tell me?

That's a very nice helmet indeed! It's still in very good condition as well.
I think it's a model 1867.

I agree nice helmet! I have one similar in that it is a dragoon one-year volunteer with a pierced eagle. Extremely nice tag!
