wanna see some of my helmets ?

Thanks for that nice additional photo Ed!

That JZP looks to me like a nice M15 variant with its painted chinscales! =D>
At the end of the day, chinscales looked much nicer than the thin leather straps on such a bulky metalhelm so I can imagine some fellows didn't wanna let their brass scales go...

As for the Dragoons/JZP "transitional" haube, I bet you'd rather have the spike with the perlring same as on your period photo, wouldn't you? That's one tough spike to find (even tougher than my $%&^@#! Feldzeichen)...

Yes Ron, that pearl ring spike would be nice, but I’m already happy to own their last model.
The periodic picture was taken before ersatz times , they had no clue things were going to go downhill soon ,especially for cavalry. :?

Very nice display Ed! =D>

Is this a Bavarian Cavalry/Chevauleger Officer Degen next to your Prussian M89? =P~

Thank you very much gentlemen, for the nice replies. :notworthy:

Spot on Ron ! It is the Bavarian Chevauleger and Ulanen Löwenkopfsäbel ‘91
You seem to notice everything. :D

Wow, and in beautiful post-1910 condition too! =D>
It wouldn't be issued/dated now, would it? Did these ever come in issued/ordnance versions?

Speaking of noticing stuff, I hope you didn't glue those 3 loose spikes to your beautiful wooden cabinet? [-o<

Something to cross of my wish list; a 07/10 tunic \:D/
The house in the back is on the demolition list, too bad, it was around when the
Germans were marching inn, so I taught I’d make one more picture before it’s gone.

Since I do not know anything on uniforms/rank/Troddel etc... :-?

So...make my day...teach me!

The shoulderboards are temporary solutions, what I need to have there are EM blue piped boards.
The tunic is stamped with BA VII (Munster) , JR39 .
So now I have another thing to hunt for, :D but I’m in no hurry.

=D> :bravo: :guns:

Love your Kuerassier Mann.; his Lachmann; his stick grenade and his Kar. 98... =P~ All you need now is the horse

I'm guessing that top shelf WW2 Stahlhelm with war damage we can spot in the corner is the dug-out helmet that started your collection?
