I have a aprox 6" what I was told is a pickelhaube sales mans sample possibly. As for the mini pickelhaube, it's a good question.
I see them pop up on ebay a couple of times per year and because I never saw them in the past, I have assumed that they're modern repros.
That said, I really don't know and that's another reason I always assume the worst.

If this was a salesman's sample one would expect it to be an accurate representation of available items. This is not. The wappen and spike are both wrong anoung other things. I vote with Vhawk and say modern repop. Sorry.

These guy's hit the nail on the head, modern made mini helmet. However, I think they are pretty cool and have one proudly on one of my shelves.
They pop up from time to time on Ebay, cannot remember what I paid for mine, but it was not much!
