Wappen and spike question

New to forum and looking for some guidance, would there be any erstaz felt 1915 helmets that would have black coloured metal spikes and wappen? In my research I have only been able to find brass and grey coloured metals. Would the black indicate copy or fake? Any help would be appreciated.

perfectly fine and nice to see. Some of these where chemically darkened to stop glare. they look blackish over time.

Congrats! A Bambis with rolled rim is one of the rarer felt helmets. I don’t think there was any other company that produced this style. Very nice to have that clear company stamp.
