Hi All,

Just got this SB eagle without seeing the back. To my surprise the posts are soldered on brass screws. Was this technique ever used or is this likely a work of the modern day?

It is modem day work in my opinion. Flat head screw .

Apart the screws soldered the eagle is poor of details, particularly on the rear side. A modern copy.
