Man,

You don't see many of these -- great job! I do have to think that those must have been uncomfortable to wear however.
 
just noticed that there are atleast two of these fellows with their ammo pouches below their belt, did they just hand them on with string? I can not see any sign of another belt that they might be mounted on.

I would think the hats. Never tried one but I think the more Ersatz the more uncomfortable. They don't seem to have a lot of functionality outside of tradition- rain might also be a big issue --Uhlans too don't have the most sensible headgear in my mind. Facing facts -- Spikes seemed to have the whole of comfort to contend with. :joker: :joker:
