Waterloo Bandeau

Before investing this amount of money, I also would want to see the reverse (back) side of the wappen. In these helmets with bandeau, most of the value/price is in the wappen, without this wappen, it is just an ordinary Prussian infantry officer helme. Without bandeau, this is a basic entry level Prussian officer helmet for the collector.

Thanks. I've asked for a picture of the reverse of the wappen and also the shell with the wappen removed. Seller said had been added on eBay but couldn't see :-k

No additional photos..no cooperation from the seller, this obviously means something is not right here.

Backside looks ok IMHO, although there is indeed no way to confirm whether this wappen belongs to this helmet. For what it's worth, this seller has been around for a long time on ebay.fr and seems quite reputable.

Regards,

Edwin
