I've had this one for a while, and thought it might be of interest to the weapons collectors.

The following links provide good background on Webley and the Mark I:

And for the headgear chaps:

I too have a Mark I Navy though not nearly as pristine as the lovely example you posted.
You wouldn't happen to have a line on any ammo for it would you?
Eric

Sorry, Eric, no. The author of the cosmolineandrust blog writes about converting .45 auto casings, but I wouldn't press my luck with that enterprise.

I believe this is as close as you will get:

That is a fine example of a remarkable pistol, there is no way you can upgrade that one.

Chas,
Thanks for showing it, the condition is unreal, I have never seen one in any condition, so that means that for me, yours is average condition:)

Looking for something else, and discovered this:

An interesting article, but it would have been better if they had shown the way the action functioned. The mention of the Webely Fosberey reminded me of a friend's comment about shooting his, he said it is odd to fire an automatic that does not eject the brass. After seeing the photo of the one in the NRA story, my vision of average has changed, and yours is way above average now.

Here is a link to something alarming, if anyone is looking for an original sholder stock, they are reproducing them right down to the markings, it is getting harder to tell the real stuff from the fake.
