I totally agree with you and would love to click the button and add them all to my collection but there are not too many people in the world who can just spend and spend thousands of dollars every week on helmets that just end up sitting on a shelf.

Unfortunately, I'm not one of them.:cry:

There are other things in life that take precedence just ask my wife who thank GOD helps that obsessed collector inside me stay grounded. ;):ROFLMAO::LOL:
 
I totally agree with you, as I am a tschapka guy these really are hard to pass on.. but building projects , three dougthers on college, and wife prevent me from jumping on them,
Especially the hannoverian tschapka with officer style guard star wappen is gorgeous… just keep on dreaming
 
Well, I certainly understand where you're coming from. Even if I were to win the lottery—well, perhaps I’d actually be worse off if I bought everything at once; the thrill would be gone. I simply don't have the means to just buy whatever I fancy on a whim. Things used to be very different, but that’s all in the past now. These are expensive pieces just to put on a shelf and look at; if a woman bought clothes like that—just to hang or lay in the closet—we’d think she wasn't quite right in the head, wouldn't we? Oh well, there has to be some excitement in the hunt and in figuring out what’s possible. It’s about looking forward to good future shows—though there are fewer and fewer good ones featuring really fine pieces; most of those are already in collectors' hands.

The fun is in the hunt. But I must say looking at them is fun too! And I doubt I am quite right in the head myself, surely my better half agrees with that lol
