I jumped in here Otto, as Stephen (Tschako) is one of my best friends and I am delighted to see him here. The level of knowledge he brings regarding Imperial German headgear of all types, including the confusing police Tschako and Pickelhauben is staggering. Welcome Stephen!

Aha! so this is not a new K-9 unit, but a cohort of the Kaiser, how good is his security? Does he have a battle tank parked on his door step? Is Stephen perjudiced against truck drivers? Any one who can get their dog to wear a Pickelhaube, cann't be all bad (if I tried that, I would lose an arm, and no telling how many bites would be traken out of the helmet, maybe that is how the helmets we have seen with bites out of the rear peak came to be). Welcome Stephen.
