This is all been very helpful. It’s good to have an identification on the helmet. Can anyone tell me if the Landwehr wore the bush. That’s a question I have not had an answer to yet. The helmet comes with the bush, but no spike.

The hair bush was also worn by the Landwehr. It’s written in the clothing regulations (for example, page 99 and further in the clothing regulations of 1895)
