what do you make of this one?

This is just bad --- stay away!
The chinstrap should not be held on with rosettes, the front trim is missing, there is no vent in the rear spine, and I'm really not sure what to make of the red liner on both the front and rear visors. The spike is an officer's (may account for the lack of a vent on the spine) but the Wappen is enlisted, if it's real. Look at the detail on the Wappen --- it's very poor.
The list of what is wrong is lengthy.

I see no issues here
I would buy it to have some fun when its carnaval but thats about it
Or maybe when it haloween scaring the crap out off people with it

I have no intention of purchasing this piece. It just looked really strange to me and was wondering what others thought. Spike has the two lines like an officers, but not an officer's pearl ring and the base looks different. Spike fasteners that hold the base to the helmet are screws. Rear spine is an officer's type. The red lining on the visors appears to fold over the visor edge and stitched on (rear visor). Wappen is a poor quality stamping made on either poor or badly worn dies and trimmed out badly. I no idea what to make of the way the chin strap is attached.

I think the chin strap sits behind its cocades as a regular m15 chinstrap if you look close enough you see it
The red liner on the visors is olso loosening from the visor so i guess its glued onto it
This helmet is utter crap if you ask me
Its just a pitty that the guys who are bidding do not see this is not a original one

As far as historically correct Pickelhaube go, this is a real piece of garbage. IMHO the front visor was once a rear visor, cut and put into place. I wouldn't be surprised if this was once a stage piece. One might be able to get some parts off of it, but that's about it. The plate looks like thin brass that was formed over an original plate, or pressed into the original stamp by hand.
