Was going through some photos today, and two cut down photos I had gotten added to a full sized PK I had bought several months ago turned up. It is cut down to about 3.25" x 3.0". At reverse is a cancellation stamp dated 28 June 1915. Part of the S.B stamp is there, -ep. Ers. Batl. Res. I- the rest is faded out at the end. So it is probably a photo of a Rekruten-Depot Esatz Bataillon. I noticed something different about one man. So I asked my eldest son to look at it and tell me if he saw something unusual about the photo. His answer confirmed what I thought I was seeing. He said there was one soldier with an X over his head. That soldier doesn't look German, looks like he's black.

What do you think?

And the other photo that came with it is a Mecklenburg-Schwerin Regt.:

Could be!? Just one of those things that is not an easy answer. If you were holding the photo, you would definitely look thrice! :D

I never had to look twice at Joe's photo :D Find me one of those and I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.

I agree with the Australian delegation. Honesty is the result of being a good friend. Sorry to break it. Now on the other hand the picture on the bottom… Now that is swell do you see the length of the issue spike? This is really nice.
