Hello
For me RBA is Reserve Beckleidungs Amt (equipment office for reserve)
with BA number (army corps number or unit number)

KAGGR 1870
that's a reasonable idea. I need to dig more into the Bekleidungsamt organizations. There are several interesting lessons coming out of our list of marks. What I do not know is if the Bekleidungsamt was tied to the tactical corps or the administrative corps area. I am leaning towards the latter however I have yet to prove anything.

Bernard,

That is a super list! The active corps Bekleidungsamt are detailed in Führer durch Heer und Flotte including all of the exceptions in his convoluted nodes. However, I do not recall anything about reserve Bekleidungsamt. What source did you use? I'm chasing down so many things about these organizations that more sources would be very helpful. Thanks

Bernard,

I think you are right on -- too bad I can't read last part of the mark. From what I was able to understand, there were only three reserve Bekleidungsamt -- these existed in the corps areas where there was no Bekleidungsamt originally. With the exception of the Lacarde book I have found no reference to Landwehr Bekleidungsamt at all. One of the most frustrating things about Lacarde is the way he did not footnote. :D I am sure I will find something about Landwehr Bekleidungsamt -- I just don't have it yet. Thanks for all your help!
