Some people say these are from some sort of Third Reich tour guide group.
The only other one I've seen was on a site known for fakes, though.
 
Second one I have seen.

There is a sketch on page 159 of Volume 2 of Erich Radecke Police book that is very similar to this wappen.

Listed as a"Bekanntmachung uber das neue preussische Landeswappen from 1933"

So some kind of early Nazi Police helmet?

I,ve seen quite a few of these over the years and I believe they are legit-not to many 3rd Reich spikies around but he's asking alot of money for a helmet thats going to need some help.-Al
 
I've a fire helmet with the same maker 'disc' in it. (coffer type removable spike) Big aluminum support plate as well with a silk and leather liner.

It is a wonder why Ebay has not pulled the listing...I thought they objected to any swastikas being shown.
 
Give it time, I had a helmet with swastika removed and listed for a week, Ebay cancelled it in the last couple hours, and I had 50+ bids on it.

Yes, really amazing. I tried to sell police Shako, the lot was removed immediately. And the warning was :(
