I found this item and put it on my watch list, but something doesn't look right:
Older officer (NCO) Kokarden.
Stars instead of studs.
Does not appear to be private purchase.
No markings.
Excessive flashing on Wappen.
Possible incorrect Wappen (should be Dragoon??).
What is it? Opinions please.

Beamte, fire, police??? Beamte would be my first guess....they have cavalry construction and fittings but always with the line eagle.

I am going with Brian and saying Beamte. Not sure how I missed this one on Ebay, nice looking helmet.

Silver M91/95 scales are extremely hard to find.

Thanks for the input. I didn't buy it, I was just curious. I thought maybe Polizei or Feuerwehr, but wasn't sure. I'm glad I didn't get it because I currently don't have any police or fire department helmets and the absolute LAST thing I need is another area to collect in.
