I have seen those visors before in conjunction either with the China expedition or the experiment of 1905. Of course the guy that listed it butchered the marking. Really is EBRJR53 which makes sense to me.

What is EBRJR53?
The leather parts look olive drab rather than black on my screen, but maybe it's just the monitor.

I think they are olive in color. I am with Joe I think this may be a good helmet? There are similar examples in the back of the old Eric Johansson book.

Looks good to me....a rare erzats helme. Too bad the chin strap is broken. We have a pic of one of these in the chin strap thread. Weird that has a Bavarian kokarde on it though.

I wouldn't think so Brad. I think it was that way in its original form and just taken out of the closet during the war.

I don't know – I have seen these green visors in conjunction with some China stuff. I don't know how well documented it is.
