It arrived, but it is not much better I am afraid. It is not a studio photo, and it is out-of-focus. No amount of PhotoShop will bring that Wappen out.
But it does appear to be a fluted spike yes?

Yes, it does looks like a fluted spike. Is it possible to narrow down the list?
Fluted spike, square front visor, and what appears to be a convex chinscales. There shouldnt be too many of the 'sun burst' shaped wappen that fits with the above charateristics.
