:lol: Ah, that was great comedy! Thanks for pointing it out. I liked the line about "The best information I have is from someone who said it might be a Totenkopfpionier helmet. I am sorry if I am wrong...".

Gosh, Joe, I'm surprised that you didn't recognize that helmet for what it really was.......an ultra-rare officer's helmet from the Prussian Leib Garde Totenkopf Jaeger Platoon. There were only 5 officers who ever served in that unit. The unit was commanded by that famous aristocrat Leutnant Wahnsinnig Graf von Quacksalber-Quacksalber zu Ersatz. :lol:
