I don't get it. Why $181 for the most common of cockades. :???:

I was interested but a few hours towards the end of the auction it when from $50 to $181 BUCKS! As my pop would say "This is for the birds!" :lol:
 
I think the high bidder had placed a bid that he was sure would win, not thinking that someone would run him up so high, and that the underbidder is someone who can not bare to loose, auctions will do funny things to people, I am sure the under bidder has mixed feelings, that he is unhappy that he lost, but glad that he did not have to pay the price.
