This is a wonderful M1860 tshako from the Wurttemberg Train Battalion. Nice to see one with the complete unit's stamp.
Simply a beauty. I would like have it in my collection indeed. Congrats Chrisutter. Well done!

That's in a beautiful condition, congratulations!

A general question: would they have used both Feldzeichen and Kokarde? It also looks like there used to be a Kokarde on the other side?

Rare and superb. Congratulations! I'm not at home, when I get back I'll give the date when the Shako was replaced by the spikehelmet for TB13.
For the track of Landkokarde, these old Shako were mobilized in 1914, in the Landwehr or the cyclists, from memory. I will confirm back near my documentation
