Württemberg Field Artillery Reserve Officer
Beautiful Kugelhelm for a reserve officer of one of the few Württemberg field artillery regiments (FARs 13, 29, 49, or 65).
Excellent form and finish, tight stitching, with a still-shiny shell and beautiful gilded fitting. Very nice wappen with all three crowns voided, and Württemberg-style reserve cross without motto (while retaining the motto on the wappen bandeau). Gilt convex chinscales of the field aertillery. Immaculate interior with golden-yellow ribbed silk liner. All original hardware, including internal spike support and a maker’s stamp for Karl Leburg in Strassburg, with no extra holes. Württemberg and Reich officer kokardes. A striking example in excellent condition.
