First of three today from Colonel Ron. For all you tschapska fans.

So I will throw my first question in. Ron how big is that cockade? 55 mm or 48 mm. It seems to have a two ridge ring around it. Yet you refer to it as an NCO helmet. At this point, everyone is moaning because I'm talking about cockades again. I know they're throwing things at me... I just can't help it. It helps if you know nothing about tschapskas, that way I can plead lack of knowledge in my defense.

I am not sure what you mean about the cockade. The helmet is as I got it 15years ago. to be precise, it is a musicians helmet per the red hair bush and the pierced crown on the front plate.

Tis a small word indeed. I am quite sure this is the exact ULAN Tschapka that I was offered and turned down in hmm....1888 or so? Perhaps earlier, cannot recall.....Very nice looking private purchase. Do you have a Ulanen Regt Nr. 19 Ulanka Ron?
