WW1 German Anti Aircraft: Flak Artillery

Look at the FLAK cartridge casings at the bottom of Tony's guide. He has an example of a strap on the 88mm page.

German Anti Aircraft gun 7,62 mm M 1902
This is in fact the Russian 76,2mm Putilovsk, modell 1902. Captured by the Germans in 1914 in great numbers at the Eastern Front. It is an outstanding gun; made of nickel steel. The hydraulic barrel break is made of rubber discs and the gun has a steel spring recoil mechanism.
The Germans used this Putilovsk gun in several patterns of FLAK guns. This one is addapted by Rheinmetal and mounted on a trailer/cart in 1915.

Hi Francis; Great photo of Russian made Flak Artillery. I'm wondering if I could get a copy of the photo, as I've been looking for a good one of Russian made flak artillery! Cheers Dick
