This is wrong on so many levels. The fez seems to be a civilian type commonly sold in Cairo, but it could be from the 1950s as easily as pre-WWI! The cover looks like a joke:

I completely agree. I have seen others I think were in movies or TV programs. At $200 I'd buy it but not at $1000+. That's crazy money for it.
