WW1 Russian Officer Visors

Hello All:

Here is something a little different; Tsarist Russian visors. This earlier visor is made of a fine heavy melton wool in the classic pea-green color.




 
And this mid-war private purchase visor is made in a rougher brown-green wool, but is still constructed in the same manner as the earlier one above. Perhaps I'll find a chinstrap, someday...



 
That is fantastic. Great piece. You don't see many of these around. I'm assuming many that survived were converted to Soviet use.
