I hope this posting is not against any protocol. I thought this may be of interest for those who collect 1/6 scale figures. Relevant to the topic of this forum, there will be a new, highly detailed WWI figure launched later this summer. The concept was originally conceived and researched by my good friend Steve Allen at Timewalker Toys. The figure is highly detailed and very accurate and has earned the endorsement of the National World War I Museum. Also each figure comes with a numbered letter of authenticity from the National World War I Museum.

Steve did a great job. I spent a day with him getting photographs of my original stuff to be used as reference for the designers. No guess-work here. The only thing I couldn't provide was an early tunic with Brandenburg cuffs. All of my issue enlisted tunics have either Swedish or the Bavarian simplified wartime cuffs. He borrowed a tunic from another collector for that. I'm really looking forward to seeing the final result. In the meantime, he has photographed more of my collection for future figures.

Regards,
Chip
