Anyone want to guess at the Regiment? Looks like a grenadier wappen and he would to have been killed early in the war (1914).

The soldier was found in Massiges and was probably killed in 1915 i have visited this battlefield La Main the Massiges many times local volunteers have made a big open air museum they have opened and restored the original trenches and found many items and several French and German soldiers.
