Officier Gardes du Corps. Named, from a noblehousemember.

...and when is the next auction?

A beautiful set. Don't recall seeing the EK1 mounted on a cuirass before.

Hello,

I am wondering about the reason of this thread
No introducing post with "hello" or something like that, no presentation of this new member, just this "throwing" of a pict without any explanation nor answer (n)
If this thread only has been created for selling promotion: (n)(n)

Something to do with Stauffer Auktionen? :sneaky:

I remember a beautiful story about one of their items that has been sold on ebay Germany, a few years ago...A classic prussian reserve officer helmet pimped up as a reserve officer helmet of the JR92 with simple addition of a skull on the wappen. I found on the web "before and after pictures". Because this classic helmet has not been sold at one of their auction, it has then be transformed in a super scarce helmet and privatly sold on ebay by one of the managing director...I am perfectly remember that because I was interested in this helmet and bidded on it. In the meantime, I found the "before picts" on the web and confronted the seller with them and he must admit the fraud and cancelled my bid...

I agree with Philippe. I like the photo of the beautiful set, but a short introduction and reason of the post would be fine.
Nevertheless, welcome to the Forum :)

You are right Philippe this auction house is a big misunderstanding. I present you a picture from their auction and two pictures of how the item should look like.Regards

Dear Collectors,

We have to be very careful with buying anything that we can not physically inspect. I have seen first hand put together helmets that cries fake from well known characters in this hobby that consider themselves experts and advisor to museums…..ask for right to inspect and return or walk away.
