-Who could tell me how to whipe/clean the finger"print"/-sweat/-grease and a bit of other dirt from a Tombac helmet shell? Of course I don't want to polish/shine...😬
-What "house-garden-kitchen" product [as we would call that in Dutch...] would be fine/harmless to a tombac shell. What would you recommend?
-Nope: I dare/will/can not take the fittings off....That will limit any effective process of cleaning/whiping....I know...
-Thank you!
Regards,
Francis

Francis buy baking soda powder and citric acid powder.I buy such products at the grocery store.Combine both ingredients and add a little water. After adding water, white foam will form. Apply the foam with a soft toothbrush and clean the object. This is the least invasive method. After cleaning, wash the item gently with rainwater, which is chemically neutral.
