I start with one that does not exist anymore. This is an old postcard. The museum was located in Les Ponts-de-Cé, next to Angers, France (and only 40 miles away from Saumur, where the famous Cavalry museum discussed in the previous thread is).
The Imperial German collection looks amazing. Where are they now?..

Nice museum in Montfaucon d’Argonne, specializing in the US in the great war. Also has a nice B&B hosted by Didi and guided tours by Maarten Otte.

First World War Museum near the American memorial in Montfaucon d'Argonne. Well worth a visit. partly because of the indoor trench.

Really intersting museum in Koblez. A lot of military technology but some good First World War stuff as well:

France Tarbes ....the only museum dedicated to Hussars in the world. Found it on the way to Lourdes much yo the wife's disappointment
