The National WWI Museum and Memorial is America's leading institution dedicated to remembering, interpreting and understanding the Great War and its enduring impact on the global community.
I start with one that does not exist anymore. This is an old postcard. The museum was located in Les Ponts-de-Cé, next to Angers, France (and only 40 miles away from Saumur, where the famous Cavalry museum discussed in the previous thread is).
The Imperial German collection looks amazing. Where are they now?..

Remark: the first picture shows a Belgian-Hollando Carabinier helmet with the lion head. Later; after the independence in 1830; on the M1843 Other Ranks pattern, the Belgian Cuirassier regiments will wear this typical lion head.
