ZebAnd now an E.M spike helmet of the F.A.R. 26 (2th Hannoversches) -1th battery View attachment 42280

Thank you very much for showing! A great head gear! I like the Hanover Garde Jäger! It's time to continue this story....from the beginning with this private jager tshako
Apart the metal feldzeichen in Hannoverian yellow and white colours all the metal fittings are in white metal.
Wonderful, in my opinion the emblem with the central St.George killing the drake and the latin motto "NUNQUAM RETRORSUM" or never go back. Below the scrolls of the eroic battle agaist the napoleonic armee " Peninsula-Waterloo-Venta del Pozzo" which we will find again many years later starting from 1899 on the shako of the Prussian Jager Battalion. J.B.10
It's remarkable that this specimen still retains the rare and extremely fragile black waxed cloth neck cover.
When I purchased the shako, I found it completely crushed and crumpled inside.

Thank you so much! I'm really happy to hear that. It's one of my favorite pieces. I first wanted to buy it back in 2005, but I didn’t stand a chance. That’s why I was even more thrilled when I finally managed to get the exact same piece a few years ago.Thank you GardeUlan.
I must say that your hand-painted, enameled officer's badge is a masterpiece of goldsmithing. Absolutely one of the most beautiful, in my opinion.
