Absolutely first class.....
I'm glad to see that you didn't take any display/presentation tips from the owner of the "museum" at Hill 62/Sanctuary Wood :D
Whilst staying at the Ariane Hotel (Ypres) recently I was really taken with their half-torso displays and thought it would be a neat way of displaying the odd stahlhelm/pickelhaube with a gumimaske/lederschutzemaske.
I can neither afford (nor would wish) to use an original 0fficers feldrock...
Coffee tins and jam jars painted matt black is my cost-effective way for the pickelhauben but I do like head-forms for stahlhelm.
I managed to pick up some used as hairdressing exam/test piece head-forms, from a fellow collector in France and wish I had some more as most head-forms either...
Absolute beauty.
For some reason the Saxons seem to have gone particularly overboard with the old fashion-spikes. The tallest spikes and kugels I have are both on Saxon helmets.
I think this helmet features in the following threads on alternative forums:-

Looks like someone got burned and is now cutting their losses.

It's just as well that Valentino Rossi wasn't wearing that when he had his "off" at Mugello
This is one classic biker (in all senses of the term) that won't be rushing to bid on this.
I'm not convinced. Looks like "Bucky" and that liner looks just wrong. Never seen that reinforcement under the rear spine before either?

Welcome to the forum.
Looks like the old man spent all his money on Brasso from the evidence of the accumulated crud to the reverse of the wappen.
There are a couple of my old pickelhauben somewhere in the Merseyside area; or at least I assume that's where they are after the local scum burgled...
With the exception of the replaced liner(?) I thought this one looked good until you showed that cut-and-shut jobbie on the eagle. Looks like it has been attacked with a Black & Decker drill too.
Not for me.
The overriding factor is the sheer quality of the fittings.
When new these helmets would have been very expensive to purchase and their quality would set them apart from the OR's/enlisted mens' issue helmets. Not unreasonably private purchasers expected very fine detailing.
This example shows...
"...I CLEANED IT AND RESTORED IT A LITTLE BIT..."
Yeah right: but you guys are correct, the juicer is a nice touch. Perhaps an attachment for those seconded to the Turkish army to guard the citrus groves on the Mediterranean coast.
