You might consider offering him a price equal to a helmet that doesn't have a liner or chinstrap at all. Of course, I doubt he'll take it. These helmets are not that hard to find. I would suggest that you wait for a better one. John

The liner on this helmet is very strange. The tongues are too long for it to be considered a normal liner. I have a liner similar to this on a Kurassier helmet (M15), but the tongues on it are not as long as they are on this JzP. The spike is different than those on my helmets but I believe it...

I saw that paint mark. It doesn't appear; however, that the entire interior was painted. It sort of looks like somebody tried to "clean" the inside with sandpaper.?.? John

It does look like they sat right next to each other in the "rack". Mine is a Model 53/60. It appears that yours is a Model 1889. John
