    M95 Mecklemburg-Schwerin pickelhaube

and that liner is mint!!! I don't know what it is about a mint liner, its the part of the helmet you will see the least of once it sits on a shelf but I guess I am a little bit of a liner "whore." :o

Braunschweig Husar Regt Nr 17 Enlisted Man's Schirmmütze

I have had this one on the "back burner" for a couple months now, I never got around to taking any pictures until now. As you can see its a private purchase Schirmmütze for Braunschweig Husaren Regt. 17 with the enlisted style Totenkopf. It is a little "floppy" and doesn't really photograph so...

    Another Braunschweig!

Well let's look at the positives... *Seller has good feedback. *Accepts returns. *That officers Braunschweig kokarde looks good, it's so rare it's not like most people have one of those laying around to upgrade a helmet but of course anything is possible. *I like the little Braunschweig...

    Braunschweiger Rgt. 92 Haube

What do you guys think about this one? the liner, chinstrap and missing kokarden is a little distracting for me but with the stamps, proper Landwehr wappen and reserve eagle it is interesting. Whats the opinion...

    Found a Feldmutze(?)

I think this is a FireFighters Tellermütze upgraded with a officers kokarde. The cap seems to be original but looks like someone played around with the kokarden.

Displaying Schirmmützen and Tellermütze, any ideas?

Anyone have some creative ways of displaying Schirmmützen and Tellermütze other than on a mannequin heads? Taking in consideration preserving the cap and visor. Just for everyday display, not for photos.

    M95 Mecklemburg-Schwerin pickelhaube

Amazing!! Great helmet and great condition! :o Mecklemburg wappens are very distinct, they don't really look like any others, I guess a little close to the Saxon wappens. Is there such a thing as a later model Mecklemburg wappen with more of a bulged look? Like the later Saxon wappens that...

What´s the matter with the Master himself, Tony S. ???

The bottom of his webpage reads "Since the loss of Kaiser I am no longer accepting email. My heart's just not in it anymore." Not sure what that means. Read into it as you like, maybe he needs a break. He's a good guy though, he has been very helpful with me and I hope all is well. I did get a...

A BRAND NEW FIND: M15 WÜRTTEMBERG IR125 EM HAUBE

Great find!! wonderful condition also. I find it very interesting that it seems like you always find these brown chinstraps with the Württemburg M15 helmets. Here is mine below, with a brown chinstrap.

    Thüringen Pickelhaube

I was talking about the Oldenburg helmet. Surely this could have been a unmarked regular line infantry helmet at some point, right? For me, without any markings to support the wappen it leaves too much doubt and the Oldenburg kokarde looks a little funny, colors look a little off. Plus, Weitze...

    Thüringen Pickelhaube

I played the puzzle game with this helmet below and won. I was missing the hessen spike and wappen. I found the parts on a smaller damaged helmet and swapped them onto this one and they fit perfectly. But we all know that these 115th EM helmets were made by one manufacturer, Martin Mayer, so...
