Hi all, wonder if you can help with this? A few years back I bought a JzP helmet with repro cockades - They're about 66mm wide but are shaped like compressed beer bottle tops :D . Due to their shape they actually sit very well on the side of the helmet and the colour/finish look good...

It arrived today - fantastic book and nice that something out of the UK is genuine (we have such a bad reputation and most of it is quite warranted!!). Just a shame the last time I did French at school was nearly 50 years ago - guess I can use my retirement to learn a new language :)

I contacted the seller and they think the fittings are brass as they can see gold colouring under the oxidation. Must admit from the pictures it looks more like zinc to me. Nice to know it’s from Berlin not Bangalore for once though
