There are other options. FedEx, UPS, DHL, numerous smaller couriers, as well as Purolator but they are owned by Canada Post so not sure if they are sympathy striking or not. There’s zero excuse to not ship anything.

They lose hundreds of millions of dollars per year, deliver pretty much nothing but junk mail, but want more money and job security for a failing and fading business model. Honestly they can stay on strike forever. I’m not sure anyone will notice.

Yeah my gifted 10 helmet stands to my friend wound up costing me over $200 Cdn in fees, duty (tariffs) and shipping costs. Sadly I think my days of shipping to the US are over until this gets sorted out. Add in the overhanging threat of a Canadian postal strike and it’s become a total shit show.
