    small collection

Wow, that's a display case with only top pieces. I see you skipped the "regular" helmets and went straight to the high-end stuff. Great taste!

    Cartridge box 105mm

This one can leave the collection. An ammunition box for German 105mm calibre cartridges. The wooden interior is complete. It comes with two (uncleaned) cartridges, both made by Polte in Magdeburg. November 1914 and december 1917. A nice detail is that there's a clear mark of the firm that...

    I couldn't resist....

You have a very fine collection of uniforms and this one is no different. I really like those mannequins you use as well.

Prussian Parts M15 Tschako Part 2

Although I admire the craftmanship and dedication that goes into this, I'm also left with a bit of an awkward feeling when it comes to restoring helmets with completely new materials. Restitching, reshaping etc. Is still another level than making a completely new liner and putting it in an old...

Baden helmet with unique spike securing method

Very cool these huge old pickelhauben. I've never seen one from Baden. How many of these old types have you managed to find until now?

    Regimental history IR75

Now I see it indeed. The J and I are different. :) Thank you for the nice comment. There aren't any markings or references to a previous owner to research unfortunately. I bought the helmet about 10 years ago from Karel van Bosstraeten. There was no Reickskokarde back then and I must say I...

    Regimental history IR75

Thanks Philippe. Am I seeing that correctly that they want 360 for it? That's quite a number.. I have a Haube of the regiment from the same year and also with the double regimental mark. Any idea why that was done?

    Regimental history IR75

Hi, I am looking for the regimental history of IR 75. But even more specifically for information on their actions in August and september 1914. Is there anyone who could assist with that please? Rgds

    My only “regular” pickelhaube

That's a very nice Württemberger indeed. I really love that you can see where the hooks of the überzug were attached all those years ago! I noticed I have a Hipp on the shelf as well.

    IR 91

My oh my. Those are way too many Oldenburg helmets for one person to have. I wanted to pick a favorite but they all look amazing!

All matching Mauser 71/84 dated 1888

That is indeed a great weapon in apparently a very beautiful condition. Well done. I really like the (underappreciated) Gewehr 88 and this has a similar look. I wouldn't say no to this either.

    German Mauser M98 1916

Those are super cool. Unfortunately laws have been getting ever stricter. This one is deactiveren by German law or by recent EU regulations?

    Italian Royal Army in WW1

Very beautiful uniforms in amazing conditions. I don't know the first thing about Italian militaria unfortunately but these are all very attractive pieces.
