    Italian Royal Army in WW1

Hello Zeb, a really beautiful collection; you rarely see pieces like these here in Belgium. When you take a good look at all those beautiful pieces made back then, the people who created them must have truly been artists in their craft—something you don't really see these days, except perhaps...

    weekly sales in America

Well, I certainly understand where you're coming from. Even if I were to win the lottery—well, perhaps I’d actually be worse off if I bought everything at once; the thrill would be gone. I simply don't have the means to just buy whatever I fancy on a whim. Things used to be very different, but...

    small collection

Hi there; that’s exactly right—everyone makes do with the resources they have, no matter how big or small their collection might be. I really enjoy taking a look around every day; sure, some people have magnificent collections while others have much more modest ones, but for all of us, only one...

    small collection

Hello. Here is my other small, modest collection. Unfortunately, my cabinet is now too small for everything. Personally, I don't think the setup turned out that well—I might change it later. Enjoy looking!

    DougB Collection

Wow, those paratrooper helmets are impressive—even the:love: winter:: version .Back then, I had to settle for three fine, complete pieces with a Wehrmacht decal.

    DougB Collection

Hi there, Doug. I’ve just finished eating, so I usually spend a little time on this forum now. I think I ate something that didn't agree with me... Wow, what a beautiful collection! I had to do a double-take—it’s truly impressive. I even put on my good glasses just to be sure, and it looked...

    WITHDRAWN

Hello. I don't want to cause any trouble, but if you were told it's a reproduction from Age of Kings, perhaps you could message them for clarification? That way, any misunderstandings can be cleared up. Regards from Belgium. Sorry, but that’s just my opinion—or am I misreading this?

    What once was…

I think these have become almost impossible to find and are part of the older collection.

    Pruisen, leib-garde-husaren regiment

Hi everyone, I’m looking for photos of the items Age of Kings sold a while back—specifically the Attila, the Dollman, and the headgear. They were posted here at some point, but I can't find them anywhere; I think it was about one or two months ago. thanks gino

Many thanks. The lighting is actually a 12V LED strip with a motion sensor, so I don't have to keep turning the light on when I go to take a look—it was a really handy setup to make.

Hello. Yes, I know, but I still like to hold things in my hands—that way, you can see what they’re really like. As for *Age of Kings*, I do know it; I see it every year at a trade show in Belgium.

Many thanks Jozef for the kind words. Well, "small" is a relative term; sometimes when I see the collections people here have built up—wow—I think, "Boy, my collection is tiny." But back home in Belgium, there are some fine collections of these items too; it’s all a matter of perspective, isn't...

    LEIB GARDE HUSAREN

Thank you very much; I was already thinking of a play for a stage, so apparently it is a good piece after all. Now I just have to look for one of those head coverings of this uniform, which will be quite a bit different, but you never know what you might come across at fairs, right?

Oh, the next photo will be of some regular pieces—just a little patience, please; I'm currently putting the cabinet together.
