These two were once in my collection. Not as easy to replace as I had thought.

What did you make to believe they were not hard to replace? These ww1 totenkopf caps are among the most searched items ( and very appealing) in our domain… would like one of those…

Back 35plus years ago these seemed to come up more often…. Maybe I was an optimist back then.. IDK. I paid $200 for the Prussian and $500 for the Brunswick way, way back….

Those were the days.. unfortunatily whereas I am already collecting more than 35 years, as a teenager, student , young father, it is only some 20 years I am able to buy more interesting things

I think these have become almost impossible to find and are part of the older collection.

Well, when the older generation, like me, passes away, it will undoubtedly be a blessing for the younger collectors. However, I am concerned about the state of the world and its potential negative impact on the collecting community. Therefore, I am not entirely optimistic about the future of collecting.

Here’s a visor cap I have that’s tucked away where i cannot see it…. it’s a keeper… IR92
