A few weeks ago, I managed to buy the regimental history of this regiment by the way.
 
Outstanding Helmet, you are buying up all the great helmets…. You must have a wonderful display area to accompany your vast storage space.

IMO this is one of the "Crown Jewels " of helmets
the regiment is very VIP all 6 of the Kaiser's sons served in this regiment
stars are all silver
and please note your old question about the spike of a Prussian general
note how the base of the silver spike curls under and don't cover down
the General's does the same thing

As a general rule, white (silver) stars and scale for Leib-GR100 and Leib-IR115, 1GRzuF etc...) Yellow (gold) stars and scale for Pioneers. (P.B.) and for LGR109, GFR, GR119 etc...
