Good day everyone,
its been ages since i've been on this forum. moved back to germany since my last post. sold all the rifles and bayonets (german customs officials take a dim view of importing historical firearms, who knew?
), boiled down the collection to a few solid 'Hauben and other military helmets. For the first few years here we were too broke for me to do much collectin' but in the last year or so things have looked up a bit.
what do you guys think of this husar muetze, alleging to the be the from the holy grail unit, the Braunschweiger? the kolpak, schnurr and kokard look too clean to not be repros but the hat itself and the mannschaft totenkopf look legit to me. but i defer to the masters in this forum for guidance, as always. Apologies if this is already discussed here, i searched for it and didnt find.
