A felt ersatz haube.

I did myself a christmas present, this felt helmet is on it's way to me.
It has all fittings darkened out, almost black.
I'll post better pictures of it when it arrives here, this is a picture from the seller, there are more picturs to see, but I'll make some myself when it arrives here.

Thanks friends! I had been watching this helmet for a month. But nobody made any offers on it.
Nobody seemed to really see how rare these are.. I have owned several felt helmets, but never one with all fittings blackened.
It will join it's Bavarian felt comrade, so now I have, again, 2 nice felt examples in my collection.

Well my friends, the guy I bought it from, said he would send it to me tomorrow.
But he didn't, it was sent this day. It will arrive tomorrow, as seen viewing the track&trace number I recieved this afternoon.
More news, and off-course pictures will be seen here, as soon as it arrives. Santa is a good man!

Very nice indeed! I have read about these helmets with chemically darkened fittings but this the best example I have ever seen.
