Adler's Collection

Hey James,
I am putting a new engine in the truck, I will hurry and finish, and I will stop by your place in two days and pick you up, we are headed to Belgium:) There is way too much steel in one place and it needs to be spread around.
Great collection Karel, keep it comming
Gus

Simply awesome!

I have a question for you on your Trench armour sets, I have a set, but whenever I try and put in on a manaquin it trys to tip over, yours appear to be on a form of some type, how do you keep them upright?

thanks

James

I just hang it over a "buste" like they use in showrooms for clothes. Kind of a body on a tripod. You have to make sure that one of the "feet" is at the front side, otherwise it will tip over...

Hey James,
If you are not smart enough to display your trench armor, I think you should give it to me, I will still be there with the truck, but I will not have to continue on to Belgium is I can get away with some of your stuff (and maybe a little of Paul's too)
Another thing you could do is borrow a tractor weight from your b-i-l and set onthe leg in the back.
Bes twihes

Oops, your M18 cammo turned into an M16 when you were not looking, that is an interesting chin strap.
Gus

Doh! What was I writing....of course it's an M16...
The chinstrap is a kind of fine webbing and is interesting indeed...

Time for a Pelzmutze Leibhusaren Regt Nr 1...

I was hoping you would show photo of this. :love10: Seems to be a private-purchase in the issue pattern. A dream piece for me, but my search has been for a 2LHR2 example. Could you take an inside photo of where the Totenkopf and Bandeau attach? Possible?

Karel,
I noticed you had a wonderful eagle top breastplate. I know very little about these. I was sent this picture, and I don't like the helmet. Can you comment? If need be we can start a new thread. Thank you.

May I have your makers Mark for our list?

Tony,

A dream piece for me,
Knowing you have much more than you are showing. When do you stop dreaming?...on the other hand, I wouldn't get half the enjoyment I get from looking at some of your stuff. So keep dreaming!

Hi Joe,
Sorry, but this one picture is not enough to see things clearly... Nevertheless, I think something is wrong with the eagle of the helmet.... Can you send more detailed pictures please?
With the makers mark, you mean the helmet or the breastplate?

Greetings from Belgium,

Adler

A few details of the Pelzmutze for you guys...

Sorry, this one is a bit blury, but I can't get a better one because it's inside the helmet...
