Great Addition, Congratulations (y)(y)

Can I ask how many plates are in the set ? Is it 32 ? I always see the single plates for sale but never the set.

Again Congratulations

Congratulations; a wonderful reference. I picked up a set about twenty years ago.

It is a great snapshot in time and being published just after the turn of the Century nicely illustrates the early Jäger zu Pferde organisation.

Being such a large format, the detail and quality is so much better than the small Ruhl booklets of the period.

My box was (still is rather tatty!)

Regards
Glenn

Glenn, thank you. It is indeed top. I would love to see/compare a 1901 original to the 1984...The boxed Ruhl booklets are great as well.
-Would love to find/recycle a matching cardboard box to pimp up... Spray-paint in the same red and print and attach a new cover page.

I was lucky enough to find a print-quality electronic copy of the VII. A.K. plate, my A.K. of interest, on the internet years ago. They are incredibly detailed and very nicely made.
Congratulations!

I love this set - was fortunate to get hold of the reprint version when it first came out and have treasured it ever since. Huge, beautiful plates in immaculate detail! Congrats! (y)

-Spending some hours restoring this parts box.... Correct tape; lots of patience. To our great satisfaction. Great result. Magic Missus B.; Sabine. 😎. Time to study the plates now!

Missus B.; Sabine Is she the lady who also sells old Military photos ?Seems that I bought some from her
sometime back .Steve

Printed on each plate:"Militär Kunst Verlag "MARS" Pirna b. Dresden". "Errata in the form of overlays will be delivered".
-Watch this example: plate #6; VI.Armee Korps. 11. Kav Brig-BRESLAU:
*Metalhelm Mannsch. Leib Kürassier Rgt. Grosser Kurfürst (Schlesisches) N°1."
1. Announcement on the Errata
2. Erratum executed.
3. The same plate detail from the 1984 reprint set.
*🧐1000 Points Question: ?who has this particular detail of this erratum executed on the original plate?...or even better...*the original "pre erratum" plate*😎...[that would be the Leib Kürassier Metalhelm, still with the Linien Kürassier Wappen Adler....].
*and...there will probably be some more Errata on this 32 Uniform Tafeln/plates than this example.
Thank you....fellow addicts...

Footnote from Bielitz & Eger- 1984: plates 27 and 35 were never edited in 1901. [35??never knew about that plate]. So...27 is not missing in the box! It was never there!
