There is brass artillery helmet on one of the dealer's site at the moment. It was cheap for an artillery helmet with the limited description. Got the items with 3 other helmets. Well the artillery helmet has double holes which was not described by the dealer. When questioned, dealer said "You should have asked questions before purchase". I returned all the items cos the officer helmet has stars that are also not original.
Anyway, dealer received the carton and it was my mistake that my poor packing damaged the rear visor and the threads got loose and of course I am prepared to pay for the mistake. The dealer was absolutely upset with the returns and claimed that he handles 3500 items annually and it is a mistake to miss the double holes and they don't pull helmets apart to see double holes.
The thing is - unless you are blind else when you turn the helmet over, you can see the double holes.
As items have already been returned, I can see that the dealer has placed everything online without changing the description.
It is very alarmed to see that dealer does not photograph and describe the items honestly and we buyers are expected to ask questions before purchase.
So members beware of short description and ask for more pics before making purchases.
