European Militaria Shows

As I understand, looking at the comment below, Ciney show is only one day long?

Ciney is really the largest militaria market in Europe ... and - with 15 Euros entry - a true "money machine" for the organizer, who only wants to optimize his revenue. The Market has inflated by the additional hall 2 to a size that visitors are totally unable to cope. That's why most visitors run through the corridors, because they are hardly able to see everything in such a short time (many traders start at 12 am already with the packing). The visitors aren't able to look at something at rest and so they buy almost nothing. Of course there is - in the mass of material - the chance to find something interesting ... but that's like the search for the "needle in a haystack" ... just too much competition because thousands of other collectors search exactly for the same.

I'm 30 years as an exhibitor in Ciney and have to say that the Ciney-Militaria-show is getting worse. So many fakes and increasingly scrap ... and extremely high prices ... far above the level on Militaria Shows in Germany.

And then there are an incredible number of professional gangs of thieves who steal ... not only a lot of Militaria ... but they also slit the pockets of the visitors, in order to steal their money. So be very cautious if you visit the Ciney-Militaria-Market.Ciney is really the largest militaria market in Europe ... and - with 15 Euros entry - a true "money machine" for the organizer, who only wants to optimize his revenue.
