Great job Wojtek, these helmets may not be the stars of the show but they deserve to be preserved. Right now an original pair of British infantry boots from 1914 will cost you around £800 !! Reason: barely any survived till today.

An iconic style of Feuerwehr leather helmet. Interesting that it has a leather comb instead of the usually seen metal comb.

I think that's a sharp and elegant looking helmet and reminds of the Weimar Republic's first reactionary efforts to reduce the baroque appearance of the police and fire brigades for a more straight to business role while still invoking Prussian style.
